Information

I will work on your instrument for the duration of the appointment you book. It will be ready at the end of the appointment time, unless otherwise communicated. For multi-day appointments, it will be ready at the end of the last day booked.
-
Your instrument should be here by the start of the appointment time, although you are welcome to drop it off earlier. If you are dropping it off in advance, you can drop it off to any RDG employee during store hours. The store is open Mon-Fri 12-6.
-
Your instrument will be ready for pickup at the end of your appointment, unless otherwise communicated.
If you would like to playtest your instrument before you leave, please arrive by 5 pm on the day of your appointment. Otherwise, you are welcome to come by on a later date at any time before 5 pm and during the store’s business hours.

Repairs are not totally objective, so it's best if the clarinet player (you or your child or whomever) can be there to playtest the instrument at pickup. But it isn't absolutely necessary. It's ok if it's truly just not possible for you/them to be there at that time. I'm happy to adjust things within a reasonable time frame after the appointment, too.

You should only bring the instrument you booked the appointment for. I cannot accommodate additional instruments on short-notice.

Absolutely, I just need your instrument to be here for the start of your appointment (likely the business day prior). All shipments are handled through the RDG storefront, and you can contact the store’s shipping department if you need help coordinating arrival times with appointments.
You can read more about RDG’s tips for shipping your instrument here.
Please also indicate on the package that the instrument is being shipped in for repairs with me. The store gets a lot of clarinets coming in and out its doors!

My repair invoices are handled through RDG, and they accept all standard forms of payment. You can call the storefront at 888-734-7333 if you have any specific questions.
